Salsify is a rather unusual vegetable but it should not be ignored if you have the time and space to grow it. This root is also known as the "oyster plant" or "vegetable oyster" because of its distinctive oyster like flavor. The roots are excellent in soups and salads.
Each packet contains one gram or 70 seeds per packet. The seed is only viable for about two years.
