DISTANCE BETWEEN ROWS: 12" apart
RAISED BED PLANTING GUIDE: After thinning,
plants should be 2-3"apart throughout bed.
SOIL TYPE RECOMMENDED: light, deeply tilled
soil.
TUCSON PLANTING INFORMATION: If caliche (hard
rock like formation) is a problem, grow half-long
varieties in raised beds. Rocky soil produces gnarled carrots. Plant August 15
to March 15.
