With that said, our seeds are a favorite for many gardeners and we hope to be a part of your gardening experience, whether you are a master gardener or new to the joy of growing your own food.

Waltham 29 Broccoli Bush Table Queen (Acorn) Squash
Compact blue-green heads grow to about 5-6 inches across. Good production of side shoots after central heads are cut. This variety is a high yielder and good for freezing. This is the best fall variety; it can also withstand dry spells. 75 days.

Packet size = 2 grams
This vining type of squash produces dark olive green to almost black, deeply ribbed acorn shaped fruit. The orange-yellow flesh is firm, dry and sweet. This variety is very prolific and excellent for storing. This variety can be grown in the summer or fall in mild climates with great success. 85 days.

California Wonder Bell Pepper Royal Chantenay Carrots
The large bell-type fruits have a mild, sweet flavor. The plants are compact, vigorous, upright and prolific. The fruit usually has three or four chambers and is rather square. The peppers are deep green maturing to a bright crimson color. This is a most popular sweet variety. 75 days. These bright golden-orange heirloom carrots are fine grained and very tender. This variety is known for its sweet delicate flavor. The thick roots are smooth and about 6 inches long. It does well in adverse climates and produces excellent yields and quality in the Southwest. It's ability to produce well in shallow soil is a bonus for desert gardens. 65 days.

Grey Zucchini Squash Early Scarlet Globe Radish
Grey Zucchini or Mexican Zucchini is a heat resistant variety that produces a light green squash that is flecked with grey. It is very popular in the Southwest and Mexico. Fruit sets all summer long making it terrific for the home garden. The fruit is straight and cylindrical and should be harvested when about 6 inches long for the most tender and mild flavor. If you have never tried this variety, it’s worth a place in your garden. 42 days.

This variety produces large dark scarlet bulbs with a bright white interior. Scarlet globe radishes do well in sandy soil and can be planted very close together for high production from a very small area. 20 days.
