Planting Information
This fast growing herb produces symmetrical branches with dark green leaves and pink flowers. Pick the leaves when they are about 6 inches high and before the plant flowers. When summer savory is allowed to flower the flavor is not as good. Plant this herb in rich soil and in a sunny location. Summer savory is used to flavor soups, sauces and stews. It may be grown indoors or outdoors. (Annual)
