This wonderful aromatic and popular herb is easily grown from seed. It will tolerate freezing temperatures and extreme heat. The silver-grey leaves are used fresh or dried in a variety of dishes. Sage must be replanted every two to three years as the stems become woody and tough as it ages. (Perennial)
