This hardy plant is one of the easiest herbs to grow and one of the most popular for the home garden. Of the many varieties of dill, the bouquet dill tends to grow faster and produce earlier than most. The plant is extremely prolific, often reseeding itself yearly in your garden. All of the plant is valuable; the seeds, leaves and stalks can be used in vinegars, sauces, dips, salads, and many other dishes. (Annual)

Dill - This herb prefers moderately rich, loose soil and full sun. Sow directly in garden, dill is difficult to transplant. Plant seed 1/4" deep or broadcast over the selected area. Cover the new seeds witn a light soil blanket. Dill is extremely hardy and withstands frost and extreme heat. Tucson Planting Information: plant early spring and again in August through October.
