The plant is compact and bushy with the blossoms well exposed. This variety blooms continuously until frost. It has insect repellent qualities and for that reason is often planted as a border around vegetable gardens. The mixture includes orange, gold and yellow blooms. (Annual)

MARIGOLD (Annual) - Sow seeds when soil temperature is warm. Marigolds are very easy to grow. In addition to their beauty, they repel bugs. Save some border space to plant these wonderful flowers. Cover seed with 1 /4" or fine soil and leave about a foot between each plant. If weather permits, Marigolds will reseed themselves easily. TUCSON PLANTING INFORMATION: Start indoors in February for late March transplanting. May be direct seeded March 15 through May 30.
