This variety produces long slender dark violet fruit that can grow up to 10 inches long and 2-3 inches in diameter. The eggplant is mild flavored and delicious. This prolific variety grows on bushy plants that can grow to more than 2 feet tall. 75 days.

WHEN TO PLANT: 3 weeks after last frost, soil must be warm

DEPTH OF PLANTING: 1/4 to 1/2" deep

PLANTS APART IN ROWS (AFTER THINNING): 2 feet apart.

DISTANCE BETWEEN ROWS: 2-3 feet apart.

RAISED BED PLANTING GUIDE: After thinning, plants should be 18-24" apart throughout bed.

SOIL TYPE RECOMMENDED: average, well drained soil.

NOTE: Eggplants transplant well. Start seed 8 weeks before transplanting time. Requires lots of water and fish emulsion or compost tea.
